i live just a few blocks away from one of the most famous zoos in the country, and its free! so, on a sunny spring afternoon, i decided to walk over and take some pics of the animals. i wont get into my love/hate relationship with zoos, i just wanted to post some nice shots of some cool creatures for your viewing pleasure. enjoy.it was late afternoon, otherwise known as siesta time:

i think this conversation is going something like…‘dude, i just want ONE slice of pizza!’‘no way man, you ate the entire last one and didn’t give me ANY! keep your filthy paws off!’i LOVE me some zebras. those big ole ears, the mohawk, that big belly, and…those STRIPES! so amazing:

these are a.m.a.z.i.n.g! faves are elephant (it's a framer), "feel like that too" monkey, and the zebras are so cool...my 2 year old loved this post...
