chicago - part deux

something wasnt feeling quite right about the last post. finally realized it was 'cause i left out one of the highlights of the trip. ridiculous amounts of fun with kara, jason and matt, and a few other characters... mr potential 11, mr 'you kill my father... prepare to die', and our good friend grover:

looks like hes fond of redheads too... hey matty!


GOOD GOOD times with such amazing people.
this nite will be one for the memory banks for ages...
wait. does anyone actually remember any of it? ;)

CHICAGO!

looks like vancouver may have a new city at its heels vying for the title of 'favorite north american city'. i have ABSOLUTELY fallen in LOVE with chicago. what an amazing place! when we checked into our posh doggie friendly Hotel Allegro (thanks auntie kara :) they asked bijou for her photo for their lobby digital frame. of course she obliged - this is her asking if theres a mini bar in the room:

chicago is filled with great restaurants, pubs,
and especially people.
we spent days meandering through the city, the riverwalk and taking in the sites...







this is only the second time ive been to chicago, and the first was an INCREDIBLE experience as well. im starting to think that it might not be too bad a spot to live. perhaps i'll sell my car and buy a boat and live in one of these apts! how cool!


or even better... a little townhouse with a dock in the front. love it!
