typical vineyard scenes

if you've ever spent any time on the vineyard, then you know the unique setting and lifestyle it presents. here are a few images that are typical of summer life here.
the ob ferry line:

anything to do with the black dog - a shabby restaurant & bakery turned soft goods success.
bijou wanted to stop by for a visit... mais, bien sur!

the shenandoah - now a black dog tall ship:
'theres a ship lies rigged and ready in the harbor'
(that ones for you dad :)

bijou heading out to the edgartown lighthouse:

and of course - lots of, um, 'boats'
helicopter? duh.
how else do you get from the airport to the yacht?

i love this image.
i call it 'god bless america and all its excess':

and mass amounts of bad preppy fashion decisions:

my brother's chatting up the dude in the pants
so that i can sneak a pic.
awesome.

  1. i really don't understand your comment about excess... i mean america is really a nation of "all things in moderation"
    where do you live? ;-)
love the shots as always and the notes
    missing you much
    xo
