the budmans

this past dec. aaron and i had to put our buddy to sleep.
this memorial day, we reconnected to spread his ashes at DOGGY BEACH. (buddy's fave place - of course!)
we split his remains into 3 parts...
i like to think of it in this way:
we have left his body, his paws, legs and his wagging tail there at the beach, so that he may eternally
play fetch in the crashing waves.
bijou and i have kept the portion that would be:
his ears for soft rubs, his eyes which told the story of a gentler soul, and his tongue for lots of big buddy kisses.
for ab, i think it is all too clear,
that he will always have buddy's heart.
his soul lives eternally with the 3 of us
and also with those of you who knew him.
