on the walk back from our macaron outing,i stopped at ‘dallyou’ to see what other flavors of macarons could possiby exist.as i mentioned in a previous post, this is where i ended up finding my very favorite: ‘earl grey’.upon leaving the store, and crossing over to the ‘jardins du luxembourg’,i turned back to take this pic and had a serious case of deja vu.turns out, the cafe to the right of dallyou is one that my mom and i had a sundae at, in 1988!it was one of those moments that hits you and gives you that smile, deep down in your soul.so, i went back across the street, stepped inside the cafe,and photographed the very table where we sat, savoring that $12 sundae.(believe me, the story of the sundae, and exactly how much it cost, has been a family fave.)how appropriate to stand here.in paris.and think,wow…deja vu!
