EU embassies’ open house

my cultural attaches and i headed out for another day of international education.  we hopped on our bikes to check out open house day at the embassies of the EU.  very cool.  some of the ‘bigger’ ones had MASSIVE lines, so we avoided those.  who the hell wants to visit the italian embassy anyway? (tee hee. thats for you ferruccio! ;)

our first stop on the tour… hungary:

 

this is the coolest!  some hungarian guy invented transparent concrete.

imagine the possibilities… BRILLIANT!

great spot on the waterfront in georgetown.  sadly they’d just shut for the day.

oh, and iceland is located in the same building!
